Welcome to East Sandy Kindergarten Orientation for the 2021-22 school year! We are looking forward to the coming school year and are excited to welcome your student.
The first day of school for our kindergarten students will be on August 19, 2021. Assessments will be done individually with incoming students by appointment previous to that start date. Information on dates/times will be made known in August, so please watch for additional information.
In the meantime, we invite you to participate in our virtual kindergarten orientation. Preparing your student for kindergarten has a lot of variables and we want to help you navigate each step with ease! Please go to http://eastsandy.canyonsdistrict.org and select “Kindergarten Orientation” from the “Student/Family Resources” tab. Here you will find the following videos:

You will also find a few additional resources that will assist you in your new kindergarten adventure. We are thrilled to offer you this orientation virtually as it allows you to re-visit these links whenever you may need it for reminders on activities, to help your student be prepared for the classroom, or to get advice and steps for the enrollment and registration process.
We encourage you to watch each video and to follow the instructions provided for the enrollment process. Applications and documentation can be submitted now! We ask that ALL enrollment applications and related documentation be submitted before May 28, 2021 in order to secure your student’s place in one of our kindergarten classes.
