Dear East Sandy families-
East Sandy had another great week! We started with our Brain Boosters. They are PE, STEM, Art, and Media. Students rotated between these classes and learned about all the great things they will be doing this year. This week’s focus was on making sure to engage in your learning. We encouraged all students to take ownership and reflect on their understanding of what they are learning. The goal is to empower students and increase responsibility.

| Please be cognizant of when you are checking your child out of school. If it is after 2:40pm it pushes up against dismissal. If possible please wait until the end of day dismissal to help with our exiting procedures. We are doing Blue Ribbon Week all about KINDNESS next week 5-8th.
On September 28th we will have the Big Smiles Mobile Dentist Clinic at East Sandy. If you are interested, please go to this LINK and register. PTA HAPPENINGS:We are thankful for all the PTA Members who have signed up so far! We are having our General PTA Meeting on Tuesday, Sept 5th at 9-10am. All are invited & we will be voting on our Budget. |
