Dear East Sandy families-
What a “wild weather week”! Thank you for working with us during pick-up and drop off especially when the weather has been changing by the hour. Also, thank you for sending your child with winter clothing. We go out for recess unless it is raining hard or the feels like is below 23F. We also have a large amount of items building in our lost and found. If things are not making it home it may be that they are there.
It came up in both our PTA and SCC meetings that our teachers would love your support volunteering in the classroom and working with our kids. If your schedule allows, please reach out to your child’s teacher and set up a time to come in. This may be working with a group of kids or helping a few read. Anything you can do helps support our school.

Kindergarten Registration (see flyer): We are starting enrollment for our Kindergarten classes next year. If you have a child who will be starting with us, please complete the form and turn it in to the office. Also, please pass this along if you have any neighbors or people in the community that you know have an upcoming kindergartner. This helps up plan for next year.
Wellness Word of the Month (see flyer): East Sandy’s Wellness Word of the Month for February is FRIENDSHIP! Friends make everything we do so much more fun! Friendships are important because our friends help us feel supported and understood. Remember, always be yourself, and your friends will love and accept you!

There are opportunities to be an emergency sub @ $125 per day at East Sandy, regular substitute @ $150 per day, and licensed substitute at $183 per day. We would love to have you join our team! I would include the following information: Age – You must be at least 14 years old Hours – 2 hours (time can vary per school) Pay – $11.45/hr.
