We had a wonderful week at East Sandy! Our student council went and met with other schools’ student leadership and learned how to be peer leaders at East Sandy. We also had Thanksgiving Point partner with our third grades and plant tulips while learning about the life cycle.
October is a big month for our PTA and fundraising. Please read the message below and join PTA and see all the great things they are doing to make East Sandy a great school.

* * * FUNDRAISER THIS MONTH * * *It’s that time again! East Sandy Elementary will partner with PTA to host a FUN RUN FUNDRAISER on Friday, October 25th @ 9:00AM where all donations will directly support student programs such as Reflections, Class Parties, Field Trips, Ribbon Weeks, Book Fair, Spirit Week, STEM Night, Field Day and more! Our goal this year is to raise $11,500 to ensure these programs can continue to enrich the educational experience for students and provide opportunities and events that engage our school community! More information will come home with students before Fall Break and if you are interested in VOLUNTEERING TO HELP AT THE FUN RUN, PLEASE SIGN UP HERE REFLECTIONS Reflections Art Contest provides, free of charge, a chance for students to showcase their talents by creating art inspired by the 2024-25 theme: “Accepting Imperfection” in any of the following categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, 2D Visual Arts, 3D Visual Arts, and Special Artists Division. Entry Deadline: Friday, October 25th by 11:59pm All students who submit a Reflections entry before the deadline will be invited to attend an Awards Celebration, Art Show & Ice Cream Party to honor their efforts. We hope you’ll encourage your students to get involved in our Reflections Art Contest this year, thank you!
