December 2025 Meeting

Responses can be collected during PLC’s next week.

Maria likes the idea of students knowing teacher goals.  Dale inquired about goal alignment with SCC and teachers and wanted to know what SCC can do to be more helpful in the classroom.

Agenda Item: Current Data  4:00- Noelle Jones
1. iReady- adaptive online program that was implemented this year.  Whole school data was presented and showed growth from fall to winter with the diagnostic assessment in both math and reading.  Domain/Standards were shown as well.  iReady data showed positive gains in students scoring below and well below grade level from fall to winter testing periods.
2. Rise- Data shown for all elementary students, East Sandy only students, and Hillcrest feeder system students.  Sub groups were broken down.  Overall math data shows a slight decline year over year.
3. Acadience- Reading and Math is assessed 3x/year.  Reading graphs were shown whole school, Sped, Low Income, MLL, Hispanic for Fall Reading Composite scores.  Historical trend shows a winter slump which can be seen in the school, district, state, and nationwide.  Reading data shows a slight increase year over year since 2022-2023.  Math data shows a slight downward decline.  Same categories were shown for math as were shown for reading. 
4. Hattie – Self-Reporting Grading  –  Post it- Stickie notes used in goal setting for Acadience Math Computation (COMP) and Concepts and Application (CAP) assessments.  Students are reflecting on their most recent progress monitoring score OR beginning of year benchmark score (teacher preference) and then set a goal for improvement.

      Review the Final Report of last year’s plan.  Landtrust filing opens tomorrow.  East Sandy has focused on interventionist time with students.  Time with interventionists varies by child in duration.  Reading goal was 70% and we were at 56%.  Math was 70% and we were at 53%. Wellness goal – 90% of students receive engaged in Wellness Words of the Month and we have met that goal. This will be reported to the state tomorrow when the website opens.

The biggest bulk of our monies is going to our interventionists. TSSP – 48% of money going to social worker, others going to MTSS behavior support assistants, incentives, and BLT planning days.
