Dear East Sandy families-
Great week at East Sandy! Our Kindergarten classes added an ant farm to study. We also had Harmons come present and work with our first grade classes. 4th & 5th graders are able to sign up for Orchestra and a special shout out to our Safety Patrol being out front and helping our Mustangs stay safe. Please make sure to follow the drop off and pick up locations. Do not have your child cross the street (865 E.) to be picked up in the afternoon. Please use the parking lot and walk with your child.

Canyons School District is sponsoring free mental health consultations for students, ages 10-18, and their parents. See attached flyer for more information.

On September 28th we will have the Big Smiles Mobile Dentist Clinic at East Sandy. If you are interested, please go to this LINK and register.

PTA HAPPENINGS: Please support our school and join the PTA. We are days away from Scholastic BOOK FAIR during Parent Teacher Conferences next week! Join us for a morning event called Grands & Goodies on Wednesday, Sept 27th from 7:30-8:05am in the Gym. Your student is invited to bring a Grandparent or Grand adult with them to have a PTA sponsored treat at school & shop the Book Fair on opening day! Expect a crowd, but it’ll be fun!
The Book Fair will run Wednesday, Sept 27th from 3:30-7:15pm, and again on Thursday, Sept 28th from 3:30-7:15pm. Every student in the school will receive a $5 off coupon after visiting with their teacher for Conferences, so bring it to the Fair to put toward a book!
We would like to express gratitude for the local restaurant, Hoof & Vine, for their generous donation toward Dinner for our Teachers during both nights of conferences. It is wonderful to have a strong community for our teachers & we are grateful!
