Dear East Sandy Families,

Thank you for bringing your students prepared for the snow today. Make sure to check our lost and found if your child comes home missing gear. Also, thank you for your patience with pick up and drop off. We want to make sure that all children transition to and from school as safely as possible. Please slow down when driving in the parking lot to ensure this.

We also celebrated our 5th graders for completing the NOVA program. This is where our Sandy City Officer Galicia comes in and teaches our students about leadership and positive choices. Students were recognized with a special program, received a T-shirt and certificate.

Thank you for all that you do! Next week is a full week.

PTA ROOM PARENTS – WINTER CLASS PARTIES DEC. 20TH!

We are so lucky to have many incredible parent volunteers that make class parties happen, THANK YOU for supporting our students + teachers!

Class Parties may be hosted anytime after 10:00am on Friday, December 20th Please check with your Room Parent or Teacher for your classroom’s designated time and volunteer needs. PTA will provide COOKIES + MILK that will be labeled and ready for pickup in the Faculty Room during school hours on Friday 12/20.

BOOK BLITZ JR – MEETING TODAY 12/13 @ 1:30PM!

Today’s meeting will be the first time our student teams get a chance to practice the types of questions that will be asked in the BBJR Competition. We know they’ve been working hard and many students are on their 3rd and 4th books! Great job readers, we can’t wait to see you at our meeting today in the Library!
