East Sandy Veterans Day Celebration
East Sandy will be honoring Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11th, this year, with a flag ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on the blacktop behind the school.
If you are a parent or family member who is a veteran, we invite you to join us as we honor your bravery and sacrifices in protecting our freedoms.
The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m., led by our Student Council Color Guard, and will include special musical performances from our students.
Students will be seated outside and will stand to sing. Parents, please stand behind the students for the presentation. Veterans will be invited to sit at the front so that we may recognize and thank them for their service. If you would like to bring a chair, please feel free to do so. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will move inside the school.
