BOOK CLUB!!!
Calling all 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders! Do you have a student who loves to read—or a student who loves a good challenge? Book Blitz Jr. (BBJR) is a team-based reading program where students work together in five-person teams to read and study 12 books throughout the school year. Teams will discuss the books, learn from one another, and prepare for a fun, Jeopardy-style competition.
Our first meeting will be Friday, September 11th, from 1:15–2:00 p.m. in the library. Parents, if you are able to attend with your student, please join us! Each team will need 1–2 parent coaches to help support the team throughout the year. If you can’t attend, no worries at all—please still send your student to the first meeting!
