Hello East Sandy,
This week before Spring Break always seems to fly by! When we return, we’ll be rounding third base and heading for home—and that’s where Mustang pride shows up strong.
As we enter the final stretch, we could really use your support. After Spring Break, we’ll begin end-of-year reviews and assessments, and every day counts. Please help your child arrive on time, well-rested, and ready to learn and show what they know.
With warmer weather, students are excited to be outside and active. Along with that excitement, we’ve seen an increase in playground behaviors and want to reinforce expectations.
At East Sandy, we expect students to be safe, responsible, respectful, and kind:
Being Safe
Follow game rules
Use equipment appropriately
Stay within boundaries
Report unsafe situations
No aggressive play
Being Kind
Include others and play fairly
Share equipment
Use respectful language and tone
Keep your hands and feet to yourself
Show respect to adults
Let’s keep working together to support positive choices for a safe, fun playground for all. Our next East Sandy Happings the week of April 13, 2026.
Welcome to our PTA Corner
Our Book Blitz Jr. Battle Day was a big success — thank you to everyone who supported our program this year and cheered on our students at the event!
Good luck to our 5th-grade team, the Reading Ravens (Jackson Helland, Crue Henderson, Aedan Holm, Luca Sharkey & Levi Stephens), as they compete next week at the Canyons District Book Blitz Jr. event on April 1st.
Join us for our monthly PTA Meeting on April 2nd at 10:00 AM in the faculty room. We’ll review upcoming events, including: Mustang Showcase, Spirit Week, Spirit Night at Classic Fun Center, Teacher Appreciation Week, and Field Day.
We are stronger together. Thank you for your support!
Warmly,
East Sandy PTA
Intent to Return Reminder and Learning Environment Feedback
Thank you to those who have already completed the Intent to Return and Learning Environment Feedback forms for the 2026–2027 school year. If you haven’t yet, please take a few minutes to do so, as this information is essential for planning staffing and creating balanced class placements. The Intent to Return form (attached and linked in the newsletter) confirms whether your K–5 student will be returning, and the Learning Environment Feedback form allows you to share important insights about your child’s academic, social, and behavioral needs (please note: specific teacher requests cannot be accommodated). Both forms are due by April 2, 2026, before Spring Break; Learning Environment forms are available in the main office and will not be sent home.
Please remember to review the upcoming East Sandy event.
