Good Afternoon Mustangs! We are so excited to be back from the long weekend and we are looking forward to the full weeks coming up. Parents we are having a lot of students come to school who are not prepared for the weather. Please send your students in winter clothing. They are outside for recess and we would appreciate you sending them with coats, gloves, and even snow pants if they have them.
With snow comes winter fun! Parents will you please talk with your students about leaving the snow on the ground during the school day. Over the weekend I went out and threw snowballs with my husband and daughter and I know how fun it can be. With that being said please remind your students that there is a time and a place for those activities and during school we need to leave the snow on the ground. Additionally, we had many students come prepared to sled down our hills. Unfortunately, this is a safety matter and students are not allowed to sled down the hills at the school. Again we are asking for your help in talking to your students about this.
As we move forward through the week we have some fun events coming up. This Friday we have popcorn Friday as well as Spirit day. Don't forget to wear your East Sandy gear. Additionally, we have an orchestra concert coming up on Friday. Looking forward to next week we have White Ribbon Week. Hope you have a great day!
